Sarah Connor Chronicles season 2 almost official
Well, this is not written in stone but Kevin Reilly, president of Entertainment for the FOX Network confirmed that Sarah Connor Chronicles is their “leading candidate for a renewal” and “far away the strongest drama of the season”. I know this is not a confirmation but when you hear this from one of the presidents in FOX you know you’re on to something. Here is the excerpt from the interview (done by The Hollywood Reporter):
THR: Among Fox’s freshman shows, “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” and “Back To You” are expected to come back next fall. Any others viewers shouldn’t count out?
Reilly: They’re really the lead candidates at this point. We’ve already started staffing on ‘Sarah Connor.’ Although it was an unusual season, it will end up finishing by far and away the strongest new drama of the season. Other shows have not gotten the traction. Just because competition is softer doesn’t mean audience has to watch a show.

Death and Fanboys: interview with Tricia Helfer
Wired did an interview with Battlestar Galactica star Tricia Helfer, sexy cylon marked as Cylon Six. I must be perfectly honest and admit that I stopped watching Battlestar Galactica for reasons unimportant for this post, but Tricia rocks my world and while I’m writing on Scifirama, there will always be a place for her here ;).

Christian Bale talks Terminator 4
Terminator Chronicles - Entertainment Weekly caught up with Christian Bale, star of the upcoming “The Dark Knight” (the second installment of his and Christopher Nolan’s Batman reboot), and got him to talk a bit about the progress of the “Terminator 4″, which has since dumped its “The Salvation Begins” subtitle. Here’s what Bale had to say about T4, which doesn’t amount to much. Basically, nothing’s been done yet, and he’s still waiting to come on board to star as an adult John Connor.

X-files 2 hints
Scifi Wire - Chris Carter, creator of The X-Files, told SCI FI Wire that the upcoming second movie will be a stand-alone story that represents the best of the series.
“This movie takes some of the most, I think, essential themes of The X-Files and incorporates them and puts them to the test,” Carter said in a group interview at WonderCon in San Francisco on Feb. 23. “I think that for me, so much of The X-Files was about skepticism, but it was also about faith, and I think that plays a big part [in] this movie.”
The plotline of the as-yet-unnamed sequel remains a big secret–so much so that neither Carter nor producer/writer Frank Spotnitz would confirm or deny that spy photos of a werewolf head from the set were intentionally bogus or not.
